Double Coffee (serves 1)

This coffee recipe is Ornamental and Not For Horticulture. Warning: Caffeine is a very addictive drug and in large doses can produce serious psychological reactions.

The standard cup of coffee contains about 180mg of caffeine. This recipe is for coffee of double strength. That's 360mg.

Ingredients:

• Some freeze-dried instant coffee granules
• Some water

Method:

1. Begin heating the water (an electric kettle is ideal for this).
2. Place two heaped teaspoonfuls of coffee a mug or similar hot drink container.
3. When the water boils pour some water into the cup.
4. Stir and serve.

Double coffee can also be obtained from many self-service drinks machines. Suitable machines first pour coffee concentrate into the cup and then add hot water afterward. With skill it is possible to remove the cup from the machine while it adds the water. The cup can then be put back in the correct place and another serving of black stuff obtained. Warning: this method could result in quite serious burns if great care is not used.
